Democrats are getting it done. . .

The Work CrewGreat job, Pacific Northwest Democrats! First, thirty blue-shirted Democrats, including Congressional candidate Darcy Burner, worked at the Green River Cleanup . Check out the great pictures by clicking here.

Then they just kept going, taking part in the Auburn Clean Sweep in Auburn, WA, where they cleaned Lea Hill Park.

On Saturday the 24th, you can help paint a senior citizen's home in Aurora, Colorado. Later this month you can join Democrats Work in Little Rock, Arkansas, where we take a shift at the food bank. Let's show our neighbors that Democrats are making a difference and put our values into action!

Democrats Help Victims Recover From Tornadoes . . .

Democrats Work helped mobilize over 30 Arkansas Young Democrats to help the recovery efforts in Clinton, Arkansas. Thank you to the volunteers who helped residents dig out from the devastating storms.

Read the story at Today's THV.com, and don't miss the video that aired on the evening news.

There is one part of the story where we see it differently than the press. The anchor said, "They are college students with a passion for politics. The Young Democrats of Arkansas decided to put their politics aside and unite in an effort to help tornado victims." We don't think that politics is something you put aside when you decide to unite and help people. We think that is exactly what the politics of service is all about.

Get Involved Today . . . Put Your Values Into Action

We clean up our neighborhoods and parks. We support teachers and students, paint public schools, and build playgrounds. We work at food banks, plant trees, and support our troops and their families.

We are Democrats. We are committed to service. And we put our values into action.

Want to put your values into action? Well, let’s get to work.
