Coats and Cans Primary in Colorado's Second Congressional District

Jared Polis has won the first-of-its-kind “Coats and Cans Primary” in Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District. This innovative “straw poll” urged supporters of the three Democratic candidates to demonstrate their support by donating needed items to local charities and serving their communities. They came out and “voted” for their favorite 2nd Congressional District candidate by donating coats and canned goods at Democrats Work service events!

The first round of voting took place on October 14th in Broomfield, and the second was on November 18th in Boulder. The final round was in Summit County on December 10th.

Thank you to all of the candidates for being champions of their district!
