Northern Colorado Tornado Recovery Information
Thank you for your interest in helping our neighbors in northern Colorado recover from the devastating tornado that ripped through Larimer and Weld Counties. Here is information about ongoing needs (updated, Thursday, May 29th at 6:00 p.m.):
- The Intermountain Division of the Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to help serve meals to relief workers and to residents. Opportunities are available from now until June 28, and there are three food shifts a day (5:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.). - Volunteer needs for the next three weeks. Go to Steele Market in Windsor at 11th and Main (behind McDonalds) to sort and organize donations for tornado victims.
Volunteers are welcome 7 days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Donate requested items: sunblock, first aid kits, kitchen supplies (pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates etc).
