Join the 31st-47th LD Democrats challenge at the 2009 Auburn Clean Sweep. (The 31st and 47th LD Dems are having a competition to see who can turn out more volunteers. You don't have to be a member of either to join this worthy event!)
The Clean Sweep will focus on cleanup and beautification efforts in various locations around Auburn. Volunteers will paint over graffiti, cleanup highway on and off ramps, and work on beautification efforts along the Interuban Trail and at Veterans Memorial Park.
Please bring gardening or work gloves if you have them.
Registration and breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 8:30 a.m. The ceremonial sweep down Main Street sidewalks starts at 8:45 a.m. and then teams will go to their pre-assigned project location at 9:00 a.m.
Notes:
Parking is available around City Hall and will be available at each project locations. Restroom facilities will be open at City Hall and available at all project locations
